转化医学研究与发展中心（Centre for Translational Medicine Research and Development ）
本中心是建立在中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院平台与香港中文大学密切合作基础上的研究机构,其宗旨是以推动转化医学研究和发展为目的。转化医学研究与发展中心以骨科及心血管科相关疾病的转化性研究为重点，研究内容涉及医学各个学科，旨在架起临床研究与基础研究之间的桥梁。本中心研究范围主要涉及生命科学、医学、材料学、力学等专业领域，致力于骨科技术和产品在临床应用方面的转化研究。当前的研究领域主要包括：
1、用于骨修复的生物可降解及生物活性材料；2、传统中药的“老药新用”用于骨质疏松症的防治；3、骨科疾病的基础研究和相关临床治疗；4、骨关节炎的治疗；5、肌腱病的生物力学和力学生物学发病机制的研究；6、软组织康复过程改善；7、软组织创伤后防治粘连的形成； 8、人体骨骼肌肉系统/关节的运动学和生物力学研究
The Center for Translational Medicine and Research and Development (TMC) integrates medicine, life science, material science, imaging and mechanics. It focuses on the translational research at technology and products for the clinical application in orthopaedics. The current research fields mainly include:
Biodegradable and bioactive materials for bone repair; 2. Re-development of traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatments of osteoporosis; 3. Basic research and related clinical therapy of bone diseases; 4. Treatment of osteoarthritis; 5. Study on the biomechanical and mechanobiological mechanism of tendinopathy; 6. Improvement of soft tissue healing; 7. Reducing adhesion formation after soft tissue injuries; 8. Kinematics/Dynamics/biomechanics research of human musculoskeletal system/joint.
